The Malaysian Association for the Blind has organised their annual National Lawn Bowls Championships from 30 to 31 January 2010 at National Lawn Bowls Cente, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. There were 29 bowlers participate in the tournament with 18 male and 11 female bowlers taking part in all categories. In the men events B1 (7), B2 (7) and B3 (4) and in ladies events B1 (3), B2 (5) and B3 (3) participants taking part.

The two days tournament was running smoothly accept in the final evening the was a heavy rainfall. The games has to stop four minutes earlier with the score maintain as it is. The winner of the tournament are as follows:

Men B1 - Kamarulzaman beat Mohd Zamrie 15 -5
Men B2 - Mohd Ayub and Abdillah drew 13 - 13
Men B3 - Suib Yusnu emerge the champion
Affifuddin runner up
Marwan Tanos was third

Ladies B1 - Norhayati Sarnoh emerge champion
Norehan Kadir runner up
Nor Aliya Maisarah was third
Ladies B2 - Siti Zaleha Ali emerge champion
Masnah Arbik runner up
Siti Rumaizah was third
Ladies B3 - Zainab Rahim emerge champion
Mashuri Mansor runner up
Norzahariah was third

(Dr) S. Radha Krisnan, the Exco members of MAB was kindly present to give away the prizes. Also attended for the closing ceremony was Mr. Safrusahar Yusof from National Sports Council of Malaysia, Mr. Zahari Mubin from the Ministery of Youth and Sports and Mr George Thomas the Executive Directer of MAB were present. This national championship was held to select the best bowlers and new talent to be listed for the national training camp preparing for Asia Pacific Blind Bowls Championships which will be held in Melaka from 25 July to 1 August 2010.
